The food is here is tasty. The staff is friendly and the sevice was pretty quick too! Lots of selections. They also serve udon, rice dishes and a few Korean dishes as well. Would recommend!

Why only 3 1/2 stars?! This is one of the best sushi places I've been to in awhile because of their creative sushi combinations!
Spicy Valentine: this massive sushi roll consisted of salmon as the base with a lovely decorated potato crunch layered on top. Sriracha was the winning flavor dressed on top of the whole dish. I've never had potato crunch on sushi but found this delightful. It's nice to get a bit of crunch to a normally soft roll.
Winnipeg Beach roll: this shrimp with cucumber roll was delicious. I could have eaten this roll for days. There was a wonderfully light, yet sour vinaigrette that enhanced the whole dish. This dish was so light, refreshing and tasted so healthy. There is no rice to make this dish feel heavy.
Only downfalls are the seating area is upstairs so you have to climb a set of stairs. There is no elevator access so it is not disabled-friendly. Also, the bathrooms are located on the main floor so you do have to trek up and down if you need the bathroom.
The waitress is not always present upstairs so you have to ring a bell every time you need her as well.
Most things can be overlooked because the sushi is fantastic! -

Nice little place, friendly staff. We came with two smaller kids who were given an extra treat by the waitress. Service was quick - food was great, price was affordable. Favourites were the shrimp tempura, spicy valentine roll and the volcano.
We liked it so much we went twice over the weekend and will definitely be back! -

This is my favorite Winnipeg Sushi Restaurant! Every time I'm in the area I stop in for some of my favorite rolls! What I love most is that they don't use too much rice unlike many other sushi places.

I used to like this place a lot of casual take out sushi but this place has changed management several times. Recently, the nigiri has been tasting a bit stronger (not in a good way) and the nigiri has been sliced up in such a brutal way that the pieces look mangled. Finding 2, yes 2 bones in in my tuna nigiri turned me off completely. In all my years of eating sushi, I don't recall ever finding any bones never mind 2 in the same piece. So, no more from here. Sorry.
